Terms of Use
Plain-language terms for using TripFit during the public beta.

Draft for review — this policy is in plain-language draft form pending attorney review before general release.
What TripFit is
TripFit is an affordability research tool. TripFit is not a travel agency, seller of travel, merchant of record, or booking provider, and does not take payment or issue tickets or reservations.
TripFit checks whether a destination fits a combined flight-and-stay budget and shows the evidence behind that answer. Any booking happens elsewhere, with the airline, hotel, or a licensed seller of travel.
Beta service
TripFit is in beta. Features may change, results may use test or limited provider data, and the service may be unavailable at times. We apply usage limits to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone.
Acceptable use
- Use TripFit for your own travel research.
- Do not scrape, automate, or resell provider data obtained through TripFit.
- Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, authentication, or access another traveller's data.
- Do not use TripFit to build a competing price feed.
Accuracy and liability
TripFit estimates and verifies trip costs using available provider information, but prices, availability, taxes, fees, baggage rules, and policies may change before booking.
TripFit provides research, not a guarantee. We are not liable for prices that change, offers that expire, availability that disappears, or booking decisions made using our estimates. Always confirm the final price with the airline, hotel, or seller before you pay.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its usage limits.
